Research & Unlocking
Unlock items with experience
The Research System Every Slimefun item begins locked for you. You must research it before you can craft or use it.
How to Research 1. Open the Slimefun Guide. 2. Click a locked item. 3. If you have enough XP levels, it unlocks.
Research costs experience levels (the green bar). The level cost varies per item. You must actually have that level or it will not unlock.
Once researched, the item is unlocked permanently for you. Other players research their own copies separately.
Some items are gated behind prerequisites: research the earlier items in a line first.
Admin Command Staff can grant research with: /sf research <player> <id> Use all to unlock everything, or reset to clear a player's research.
